<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing poetry teaching materials assisted by Kvisoft Flipbook Maker for Grade VIII students at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan, (2) describe the form of the poetry teaching materials developed using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker, and (3) determine the feasibility of the poetry teaching materials based on evaluations conducted by material and media experts. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using Sugiyono’s development model, which was simplified into five stages: potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, expert validation, and product revision. The research data were obtained through textbook analysis, interviews with an Indonesian language teacher, student needs questionnaires, and validation sheets completed by material and media experts. The results of the needs analysis indicated that the poetry teaching materials currently used did not present the elements of poetry in a complete and systematic manner, did not clearly classify poetry elements into intrinsic and extrinsic elements, and were predominantly text-based, making them less appealing to students. In addition, students experienced difficulties in understanding poetry elements, interpreting the meaning of poems, and identifying figures of speech. Based on these findings, poetry teaching materials assisted by Kvisoft Flipbook Maker were developed by integrating text, images, audio, videos, exercises, and educational games into an interactive digital learning medium. The validity of the developed poetry teaching materials was assessed by material and media experts. The material expert validation yielded a score of 85%, categorized as “Very Feasible,” while the media expert validation yielded a score of 93%, also categorized as “Very Feasible.” The average feasibility score was 89%, which falls into the “Very Feasible” category. Therefore, the poetry teaching materials assisted by Kvisoft Flipbook Maker are considered suitable for use as a learning resource in Indonesian language learning for Grade VIII students at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan.]]>
