Abstract

The Visual Basic Islam (VIBI) program, also known as Baitul Arqam Purna Studi, is a strategic vehicle designed to provide a "finishing touch" or spiritual coloring (sibghah) of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) values for prospective graduates at Universitas Muhammadiyah Brebes (UMBS). This program serves as a mandatory prerequisite for thesis defense and a key component of the Diploma Supplement (SKPI). This study aims to analyze the internalization of AIK values through the implementation of the 2026 VIBI program. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with an evaluative study design, analyzing cognitive dimensions (Pre-test, Post-test, and five core modules taught by regional Muhammadiyah leadership structures: PWM Jawa Tengah, PDM Banyumas, PDM Brebes, and PCM Bumiayu) and affective/psychomotor dimensions (Fathul Qulub, Qiyamul Lail, Outbound, and Affirmation) of 59 active prospective graduates from Information Systems and Informatics Engineering study programs. Data were gathered through instructor evaluation recapitulations from the document Nilai dan Statistik VIBI 2026 and analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative codification of students' Action Plan (Rencana Tindak Lanjut/RTL) documents. The results indicate that the average cumulative internalization score of participants is 87, with an outstanding completion rate of 95% (56 students) based on the minimum passing grade of 70. Evaluation of specific modules revealed that Islamic Marriage jurisprudence achieved the highest cognitive internalization score (98), whereas the lowest average performance was found in the Affirmation aspect (61.5). The remaining 3 students (5%) were categorized as "incomplete" not due to academic or disciplinary failure, but due to officially permitted early departure caused by health issues (illness) and unavoidable professional work commitments. Consequently, a structural makeup assignment scheme was applied to these students to ensure they successfully internalized the missed sessions. Qualitative analysis of RTL documents confirms that the internalization process has successfully integrated Islamic work ethics and eschatological vision into their future professional career paths.
