Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of traditional cultural learning on the socio-cultural development of 5–6-year-old children at Nurhikmah Kindergarten. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasiexperimental design using a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of 20 children, consisting of 10 in the experimental Group and 10 in the control Group. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann–Whitney U Test. The results showed that the experimental Group obtained a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05, the control Group obtained a significance value of 0.034 < 0.05, and the results of the Mann– Whitney U Test showed a significance value of < 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, traditional cultural learning using interactive videos has a significant effect on the sociocultural development of children aged 5–6 years at Nurhikmah.
