Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model integrated with the Deep Learning approach on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in statistics at MTs Bustanul Ulum Panti Jember. The study was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes caused by teacher-centered learning, which limited students' active participation in the learning process. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of Class VIII A as the control group and Class VIII C as the experimental group, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest instruments as well as documentation. The data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) tests. The findings indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The ANCOVA test yielded a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), indicating that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model integrated with the Deep Learning approach had a significant effect on students' learning outcomes in statistics. The implementation of this learning model improved students' engagement in listening, thinking, discussing, and repeating learning materials, resulting in better conceptual understanding and higher learning outcomes than conventional learning.
