Abstract

This study examines the moral and pedagogical responsibilities of teachers in the digital transformed by the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies from credible sources such as scientific journals, UNESCO reports (2023), data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, and the PDP Law No 27 of 2022, the analysis was carried out systeatically. The results show that teachers function as ethical guardians by protecting student data privacy, preventing cyberbullying, and instilling integrity values in LMS (Learning Management System) platforms such as Moodle and Google Classroom. Pedagogically, teachers design inclusive blended learning according to the independent curriculum, equipping students with 21st-century competencies (4C), and overcoming the challenges of digital devide and technology addiction. The conclusion confirms that strengthening the role of teachers is crucial to creating humanistic and adaptive digital education for the digital native generation.
