<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the importance of learning innovations that can enhance studentsÂ’ learning motivation through the implementation of student-centered learning models and the utilization of educational technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by a smart board on the learning motivation of third-grade elementary school students. This study employed a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted in two classes consisting of an experimental class and a control class, with a total sample of 52 students. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research procedures included administering a pretest, implementing the learning activities in each class, administering a posttest, and analyzing the data using normality, homogeneity, equality of means, and hypothesis tests with the assistance of SPSS version 22. The findings indicated that the average learning motivation of students in both classes increased after the learning process. The experimental class obtained an average posttest score of 61.11, while the control class achieved an average score of 59.73. However, the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.932 (> 0.05), indicating that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by a smart board did not have a statistically significant effect on the learning motivation of third-grade elementary school students.]]>
