<![CDATA[ Critical thinking is one of the abilities that needs to be developed in elementary school science learning, yet in practice it has not developed optimally. This study analyzed the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, with an emphasis on the principles of the constructivist approach, on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the Science (IPAS) subject. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design was used. The sample consisted of 44 fourth-grade students of SDN 1 Kedungwaru, Tulungagung: 23 students in the control class and 21 students in the experimental class. Data were collected through six essay-based critical thinking test items developed from Facione's indicators and analyzed using Jamovi version 2.6.44. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the control class was 76.5, while the experimental class reached 87.7. The Independent Sample T-Test indicated a posttest significance of p < 0.001, meaning a significant difference existed between the two groups. These findings indicate that the PjBL model with an emphasis on constructivist principles has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the Science subject. Keywords: Project Based Learning (PjBL), Constructivism, Critical Thinking Skills, Science ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar, namun dalam pelaksanaannya kemampuan ini belum berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan penekanan pada prinsip pendekatan konstruktivisme terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 44 peserta didik SDN 1 Kedungwaru Tulungagung yang terdiri dari 23 siswa kelas kontrol dan 21 siswa kelas eksperimen. Data dikumpulkan melalui enam butir soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berbentuk uraian yang disusun berdasarkan indikator Facione, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi Jamovi versi 2.6.44. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 76,5, sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,7. Uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan signifikansi posttest p < 0,001 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL dengan penekanan pada prinsip pendekatan konstruktivisme berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS.
