<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of the family environment in the formation of students’ character at SD YPK Imanuel Yeflio Sorong Regency. The family environment is the first educational environment that has an important influence in shaping children's attitudes, behavior, and character. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, classroom teachers, parents, and students of SD YPK Imanuel Yeflio. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the family environment plays an important role in shaping students’ character. This can be seen from parenting patterns, family communication, emotional support, and parental involvement in children's education, which contribute to the development of students' character. The character of students at SD YPK Imanuel Yeflio is generally categorized as fairly good, especially in aspects of social attitudes and cooperation among students. However, some students still require further guidance to improve discipline and independence. Therefore, it can be concluded that the family environment has a significant role in shaping students' character, and good cooperation between families and schools is needed to support students' character development.]]>
