<![CDATA[The development of gamification on e-commerce platforms has introduced various prize-based games that are used not only for entertainment but also carry economic value. One such feature is Shopee Capit. In this game, users can obtain prizes using free tokens or additional tokens exchanged for Shopee Coins. The uncertainty of outcomes, the use of coins that hold economic benefit, and the significant element of luck raise issues in fiqh muamalah. This study aims to determine the mechanism of using Shopee Capit, the form of contract (akad) used, and the legal ruling on its use according to Islamic fiqh. This study used the library research method by examining fiqh muamalah literature, fatwas, previous research, and the rules governing the use of Shopee Capit. Data were analyzed by comparing the game mechanism with the concepts of akad, ju'alah, gharar, maisir, dharar, israf, and maslahah. The results show that users can play using free tokens or additional tokens exchanged for 350 Shopee Coins. The use of free tokens can be regarded as a promotional gift or a ju'alah contract and is permissible, as long as the game rules are clearly explained, the prizes given are halal, and there is no payment or wagering from the user. However, the use of tokens obtained by exchanging Shopee Coins is not permissible. This is because Shopee Coins have economic benefit, while the prize obtained is uncertain and depends largely on luck. Therefore, this mechanism contains elements of maisir and gharar and may lead to loss (dharar) and excessive behavior (israf). Thus, the ruling on the use of Shopee Capit differs according to the type of token used.]]>
