Abstract

Preterm labor is labor that occurs at a gestational age of <37 weeks or 259 days from the first day of the last menstruation. The incidence of preterm labor refers to the birth of a premature baby.  The main difficulty in premature babies is care, this is due to the immaturity of the body systems and other organs to function so that it can cause complications such as respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), intraventricular bleeding, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), ductus arteriosus patem (PDA), necrotizing entero cilitis (NEC), sepsis, apnea and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). These complications in premature babies can further increase neonatal morbidity and mortality. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship and magnitude of the risk of preterm events at the Banjarnegara Regency Health Center. The research instrument uses an observation sheet. Type of analytical survey research with a case control approach. The independent variables in this study were maternal age, gestational spacing, parity, twin pregnancy, premature rupture of membranes, antepartum bleeding, history of abortion and previous history of preterm, the dependent variable was preterm delivery. The sampling technique used the total sampling method using secondary data from 3 Community Health Centers in Banjarnegara Regency with the highest cases of preterm birth in 2023, the number of cases was 56 respondents and controls were 112 respondents. Bivariate analysis uses the chi square test. Research results show that twin pregnancies are associated with preterm events (p-value 0.043), respondents with twin pregnancies have 8.538 times the risk of experiencing preterm events compared to respondents with non-twin pregnancies (95% CI 0.931-78.298), previous preterm history was associated with preterm pregnancies. (p-value 0.04), respondents with a previous history of preterm had a 3,857 times risk of experiencing a preterm event compared to respondents who had no previous history of preterm (95% CI 1.079-13.790). Conclusion of the research is pregnancy pregnancies and a previous history of preterm are associated with the incidence of preterm at the Banjarnegara district health center.

Abstract

Food intake is related to the nutrients (nutrients) contained in the food eaten. To achieve optimal growth, it is necessary to fulfill nutritional needs, especially in meeting macronutrients. Macronutrients are nutrients that provide calories or energy, needed for growth, metabolism and other body functions. These macronutrients are needed by the body in large amounts, consisting of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Unbalanced food intake is related to the lack of fulfillment of nutrients in food so that it becomes one of the factors causing stunting. The purpose of this study was to describe the need for protein, fat and carbohydrates in stunting toddlers. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all toddlers in the village of 81 toddlers. Sampling technique with a total sampling of 12 respondents who experienced stunting. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis. In this analysis only produces a frequency distribution. The data collection method in this study was carried out through primary data, namely taking data on measurements of weight, height and calculating the nutritional needs of toddlers using the ADIME formula. The results of this study indicate that stunting toddlers have inadequate protein requirements by 100%, the need for adequate fat is 58.33% and the need for carbohydrates is inadequate at 58.33%.

Abstract

Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is calculated from the number of infant deaths 0 <12 months per 1000 live births in an area in one year. The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Banjarnegara Regency in 2018 was 14.1 / 1000 live births, which in absolute terms was calculated from the number of infant deaths of 216 with live births of 15,317. The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in 2018 increased compared to 2017 which was only 13.37 / 1000 live births with the number of deaths of 204 cases from 15,255 live births. One of the important obstacles for the progress of MDGs 4 so that it fails to reduce infant mortality, namely death from a single cause, prematurity. Preterm labor is a dangerous thing because of the potential to increase perinatal mortality by about 65% -75%, generally associated with low infant weight weighing less than 2,500 grams. Several factors have contributed to the occurrence of preterm labor such as factors in the mother, fetal and placental factors, or other factors such as socioeconomic. The research objective was to determine the picture of maternal age and parity as risk factors for preterm birth. The basic method of research used in this research is descriptive analysis research method by looking at the mother's age as a risk of preterm birth. The sampling technique was carried out by the total sampling method, namely taking all samples from the total population. The data collection method in this study was carried out through secondary data, namely taking medical records. The results showed that most of the respondents 90.3% (37 people) were in the low risk age category (20-35 years), and there were 9.7% (4 people) in the high risk age category (<20 and> 35 years). More than half of maternal parity was in the low risk category, namely 22 respondents (53.7%) and the other part, namely 19 respondents (46.3%), which were in the high risk category.

Abstract

Child health efforts are expected to reduce child mortality. One of the indicators is the Infant Mortality Rate. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the factors of asphyxia in newborns at the Banjarnegara Puskesmas 2 Banjarnegara District. This type of quantitative research is analytic survey design, cross sectional approach method. The population is all mothers who give birth to newborns with asphyxia in January - May 2020 at the Banjarnegara Health Center 2 as many as 22 newborns with asphyxia. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Univariate analysis looked at the frequency distribution and the percentage of each variable studied, namely maternal age, maternal parity, gestational age, difficult delivery and amniotic fluid conditions. The results of the study are mothers who give birth to newborns with asphyxia, the majority of those at low risk are 77.27%. Parity of mothers giving birth all included in the category of primipara and grandemultipara by 100%. The gestational age of mothers in all categories of term pregnancy is 100%. The majority of asphyxia occurs in mothers with difficult births in the amount of 90.91%. The condition of amniotic fluid the majority of amniotic fluid mixed with meconium of 68.18%.
