<![CDATA[The transformation of the settlement of the conventional criminal justice system in Indonesia which focuses more on punishing criminals (retributive justice) to developing with a focus on criminal prosecution through the restorative justice mechanism is an increasingly relevant alternative today in the context of the Indonesian criminal justice system, especially in Indramayu Regency which has experienced quite a lot of minor criminal cases that can be resolved through dialogue between each other. The high crime rate has caused excess capacity of community institutions to become a driver for the need to implement a more humanistic and solution-oriented approach to be applied in the community of Indramayu Regency. This community service is carried out to increase the understanding and capacity of the community starting from ordinary people, law enforcement officers, and other related parties regarding the application of restorative justice principles in resolving minor criminal cases that occur in the Indramayu community. The method of implementing activities includes legal counseling, and simulation of restorative justice-based settlements involving community leaders and village officials in Indramayu. This Restorative Justice approach not only accelerates the resolution of cases, but is also able to restore social relations between the disputing parties and the surrounding community. This transformation is expected to be an option for minor crimes and become an initial step in building a criminal punishment system that is more participatory, fair, and oriented towards the recovery and integrity of the Indramayu Regency community. Abstrak Transformasi penyelesaian sistem peradilan pidana konvensional di Indonesia yang lebih menitikberatkan pada penghukuman pelaku tindak pidana (retributive justice) menjadi berkembang dengan fokus pada penuntutan pidana melalui mekanisme restorative justice menjadi alternatif yang semakin relevan saat ini dalam konteks sistem peradilan pidana Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Indramayu yang selama ini cukup banyak mengalami perkara pidana ringan yang dapat diselesaikan melalui dialog antar sesama. Tingginya angka kejahatan tersebut menyebabkan kelebihan kapasitas lembaga masyarakat menjadi pendorong perlunya penerapan pendekatan yang lebih humanis dan berorientasi solutif untuk diterapkan di masyarakat Kabupaten Indramayu. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas masyarakat mulai dari masyarakat awam, aparat penegak hukum, dan pihak terkait lainnya mengenai penerapan asas restorative justice dalam menyelesaikan perkara pidana ringan yang terjadi di masyarakat Indramayu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan hukum, dan simulasi penyelesaian berbasis restorative justice yang melibatkan tokoh masyarakat dan perangkat desa di Indramayu. Pendekatan Restorative Justice ini tidak hanya mempercepat penyelesaian perkara, tetapi juga mampu memulihkan hubungan sosial antara pihak yang bersengketa dengan masyarakat sekitar. Transformasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pilihan bagi tindak pidana ringan dan menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun sistem pemidanaan yang lebih partisipatif, adil, dan berorientasi pada pemulihan dan keutuhan masyarakat Kabupaten Indramayu.]]>
