Abstract

 Technological advancements have driven increasingly dynamic job trends in Indonesia each year. This situation becomes problematic when a gap emerges between the skills possessed by college graduates and the criteria required in the workplace. According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), current job trends are moving towards various jobs related to digitalization, such as data analysts, digital marketers, and strategy specialists. Meanwhile, the curriculum of various courses in Indonesia remains conventional, resulting in graduates' skills being unable to meet job market needs. This study discusses the integration of digital skills into Project-based learning (PjBL) as an effort to equip students with the skills needed in the workplace. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques using library research techniques. This study uses the concept of Digital Skills as an analytical tool to help answer the research objectives. The results show that familiarizing students with the use of digital tools and various platforms to academic activities can equip them with the digital skills needed in the workplacesupport. On the other hand, INDEF records in 2023 showed that the digital literacy rate in Indonesia was only 62%, the lowest compared to other ASEAN countries, which averaged 70%. Integrating digital skills into project-based assignments can be one solution to improve people's digital skills. Keywords: Digital Skills, Indonesia, Project-Based Learning, Workplace Trends
