Abstract

The student registration and equipment data management process at PT Racer Robotic Serang was previously conducted conventionally, where registration utilized Google Forms and equipment data collection was still recorded manually. This created risks of data inaccuracy and a lack of operational efficiency. This study aims to design and develop an integrated web-based information system for equipment management and student registration for robotics classes at PT Racer Robotic Serang using the Waterfall method. The system was developed using the Next.js framework, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase as the backend service. The features provided include equipment inventory management (incoming, outgoing, and damaged goods), online student registration from kindergarten to high school levels, and a public landing page featuring company news and information. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to evaluate functionality and system performance. The results indicate that all system features run properly with an average API response speed of 375 ms and a 100% Black Box Testing success rate, thereby providing a structured, secure, and efficient digital solution for the operational needs of PT Racer Robotic Serang.

Abstract

J&T Express, as one of the leading shipping companies, faces challenges in evaluating employee performance, particularly couriers, to determine the best candidates worthy of promotion to permanent positions. This study focuses on designing and implementing a Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting high-performing employees using the SAW method, while also assessing the priority order's resilience to variations in weights for each assessment criterion. This study uses a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative exploration through interviews and surveys to identify assessment criteria with quantitative SAW-based scoring for the ranking process; primary data was drawn from surveys and interviews with J&T Express supervisors, supported by literature studies from related scientific journals. Five main criteria were established: delivery performance, discipline, neatness, work experience, and competency test results. The findings of this study indicate that the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is able to produce an objective and structured employee priority order.
