Abstract

Development technology information has bring change to system proof in case criminal , including case Domestic Violence (DV). Video recordings and digital conversations through application message electronic the more Lots used For documenting incident violence in general happens in space private and difficult proven through witness direct . Research This aim analyze position and power proof video recordings as well digital conversations in domestic violence cases reviewed from aspect authentication , integrity , validity acquisition , and its relevance with action the crime charged . Research use method law normative with approach legislation , conceptual , and cases . Legal materials analyzed in a way qualitative-prescriptive based on provision law proof , arrangement information electronics , as well as development doctrine and practice justice . Research results show that video recordings and digital conversations can used as tool evidence that has strength proof if fulfil condition authentication , integrity , validity acquisition , and relevance . Authentication required For ensure source and authenticity evidence , whereas integrity ensure proof No experience change or manipulation . Legitimacy acquisition related with procedure acquire and secure evidence , while relevance show connection proof with element action domestic violence crime . Power proof digital evidence is cumulative and increasing strong if supported tool proof others . Therefore that , is necessary strengthening digital forensics and standardizing the chain of custody in order to ensure reliability digital evidence in the judicial process criminal .
