Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, work environment, work discipline, and work ethic on employee performance at PT Sinar Tambang Arthalestari. A quantitative approach with an associative design was employed. The population consisted of 456 employees, and a sample of 100 respondents was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results reveal that competence and work ethic have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while work environment and work discipline do not exhibit a significant effect. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.279 indicates that the four independent variables explain 27.9% of the variance in employee performance. These findings underscore the importance of developing competence and strengthening work ethic as primary strategies for enhancing employee performance in the cement industry.
