Abstract

This thesis discusses the implementation of values of compassion, empathy, and brotherhood in Islamic Religious Education to form anti-bullying character in elementary school students. The main problem is: How are Islamic Religious Education values instilled to prevent bullying behavior among fourth grade students at SDN 105 Baraka, Enrekang Regency? This issue is examined through normative theological, pedagogical, and mental approaches and analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research indicate that bullying behavior in fourth grade at SDN 105 Baraka, Enrekang Regency is dominated by verbal, minor physical, and social bullying that is situational in nature, especially when teacher supervision is lax. The instilling of Islamic Religious Education values through religious habituation, teacher role modeling, advice, and religious activities has proven effective in preventing and mitigating bullying behavior by emphasizing values of good manners, compassion, empathy, and mutual respect. Although prevention has been running conducively, reinforcement through more structured monitoring and evaluation is needed to ensure that "excessive joking" behavior does not recur among certain students.
