Abstract

Sampah plastik merupakan penyumbang kerusakan lingungan dan salah satu permasalahan besar di Indonesia. Seiring meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan kembali limbah plastik menjadi penyebabnya. Salah satunya yang terjadi di Kota Parepare, Kelurahan Lemoe karena kurangnya lahan pembuangan akhir dan pengolahan sampah menyebabkan banyak masyarakat yang membuang sampah sembarangan seperti di sungai dan di sekitar pemukiman penduduk. Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan informasi terkait pengolahan limbah yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat yang telah dilakukan di Kelurahan Lemoe yaitu dengan metode pengolahan limbah plastik. Metode ini dilakukan dengan cara membuat sebuah kerajinan atau karya dari botol bekas berupa tempat sampah. Dengan demikian, metode ini dapat efektif untuk membantu mengurangi limbah plastik di sekitar. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi untuk membantu mengurangi limbah plastik di Kelurahan Lemoe dan menumbuhkan kreativitas masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan limbah di sekitar agar lebih bermanfaat dan kelestarian lingkunganpun dapat terjaga.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata saat pandemi Covid-19 seperti ini berbeda dengan KKN pada umumnya. KKN pada saat pandemi Covid-19 bisa dilakukan secara kelompok langsung di lapangan dan bisa secara mandiri daring. Dengan adanya KKN di tengah pandemi Covid-19 diharapkan Mahasiswa tetap memiliki urgensi pengabdian sehingga dapat mengembangkan kompetensi Mahasiswa dan interaksi dalam bersosial di masyarakat. Limbah merupakan bahan sisa yang dihasilkan dari suatu kegiatan dan proses produksi, baik pada skala rumah tangga maupun industri. Limbah organik merupakan limbah yang dapat diuraikan secara sempurna melalui proses biologi baik aerob maupun anaerob. Di Kota Parepare sendiri terdapat banyak limbah organik yang berasal dari usaha usaha masyarakat setempat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait pengolahan limbah organik yang telah dilakukan guna membantu masyarakat mengembangkan kreativitas dan tentunya dapat mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan limbah organik yang berasal dari para pedagang makanan dan kemudian diolah menjadi pupuk tanaman. Melalui artikel ini, kami berharap dapat membantu mengurangi limbah organik di Kota Parepare dan juga membantu masyarakat khususnya yang berada di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about, Development of Teaching Methods ofIslamic Religious Education Teachers at SMP Negeri 9 Parepare. Dataused in this discussion, there are two kinds, namely: library data and fielddata. The bibliographic data were collected by citing the opinions of expertsfrom reading books relating to this study. While the field data obtained byconducting direct research to a predetermined location. Data collection techniques were conducted using interviews, observation, questionnaires,documentation. Data analysis techniques using the formula of Mean is usedbecause this technique is a statistical test that allows to know whether ornot the development of teaching methods of teachers of Islamic Educationin SMP Negeri 9 Parepare. Based on the data obtained in the field it can beconcluded that there is a development of teaching methods when usingteaching methods that vary, it can be seen from the score of learningoutcomes obtained by learners before treatment, ie learners gain anaverage score of 10.37, while scores obtained by learners after treatmentwere given an average of 14.9. In accordance with the results of observationthe use of varied teaching methods influence on learning interests oflearners on the learning process. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengembangan metodemengajar guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 9 Parepare. Datayang digunakan dalam pembahasan ini, ada dua macam yaitu: datakepustakaan dan data lapangan. Data kepustakaan diambil dengan caramengutip pendapat para ahli dari buku-buku bacaan yang berkaitan denganpenelitian ini. Sedangkan data lapangan diperoleh dengan melakukanpenelitian langsung ke lokasi yang telah ditentukan. Teknik pengumpulandata dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket,dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus Mean karenateknik ini merupakan  suatu tes statistik yang memungkinkan untukmengetahui ada tidaknya pengembangan metode mengajar guruPendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 9 Parepare. Berdasarkan datayang diperoleh di lapangan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapatpengembangan metode mengajar ketika menggunakan metode mengajaryang bervariasi, hal ini dapat terlihat dari skor hasil belajar yang diperolehpeserta didik sebelum diberikan perlakuan, yakni peserta didik memperolehskor rata-rata 10,37, sedangkan skor yang diperoleh peserta didik setelahdiberikan perlakuan adalah rata-rata 14,9. Sesuai dengan hasil observasipenggunaan metode mengajar yang bervariasi berpengaruh terhadapminat belajar peserta didik pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of Creative and Innovative Teachers in Improving the Quality of Learners in Subjects at Muhammadiyah Parepare Junior High School. The purpose of the research is to find out (1) Creative and innovative Teacher Criteria (2) How the Role of Creative and Innovative Teachers in Improving the Quality of Learners (3) How the Influence of Creative and Innovative Teachers on the improvement of Students in Muhammadiyah Parepare Junior High School. . This research uses a holistic approach that is a pedagogical approach. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The method of data collection is carried out by observation methods, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The analytical techniques used are descriptive techniques and inferential analysis. (2) With the management of the learning process program, improving the quality of learning carried out by educators can improve the quality of learners in Islamic Religious Education Subjects (3) Creative and Innovative Teachers in their development can provide a significant influence and contribute to improving the quality of learners in Muhammadiyah Parepare Junior High School. Based on the results of the study, the implications of the study were presented to the school to increase the role of educators in applying Creative and Innovative learning which includes the use of various techniques, ways and methods in learning.

Abstract

The BUMDes fish processing business unit group experienced obstacles regarding the function of packaging and how to market digitally in the sale of Dempo fish products.  The purpose of this PKM is to create the right packaging to maintain product quality; and expand product marketing areas to increase sales productivity through digital marketing. The method is carried out through training and mentoring in the form of packaging practices with the use of vacuum sealers, the creation of e-commerce sales accounts integrated into social media, and the evaluation stage of activities. The results of this community service activity show an increase in the skills of the partner group in utilizing packaging tools for Dempo fish produced (78%) so that product packaging is more attractive and supports shelf life to maintain product quality. With the packaging technology used, the knowledge of partner group members in understanding the function of packaging that affects marketing has also increased (80%). This has an impact on the increase in sales turnover received through social media owned by members of the partner group. If previously it was known that the sales turnover of this product was IDR 16 million per year or equivalent to IDR 1.3 million per month, then after the PKM activity there was an increase in sales turnover of IDR 2.1 million at the same price within 3 weeks.

Abstract

Reward and punishment are pedagogical strategies commonly employed in  Islamic education to shape students’ behavior and moral character. However,  practices that are not grounded in ethical principles may lead to dependence on  external motivation and have negative effects on students’ psychological  development. This study aims to analyze the ethical dimensions of the  implementation of reward and punishment from the perspective of Islamic  education as well as contemporary critiques in studies of learning motivation. This  research adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review, with data  sources derived from the Qur’an, Hadith, books, and relevant scholarly journals.  The data were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method, focusing on Islamic  ethical values such as justice (‘adl), compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), and  the educational orientation of tarbiyah. The findings indicate that reward is  effective in enhancing positive motivation when applied proportionally and  meaningfully, whereas punishment is justified only as an educational tool that aims  to educate without undermining students’ dignity. Contemporary psychological  critiques emphasize that an imbalance in the application of reward and punishment  may weaken intrinsic motivation. The implications of this study underscore the  importance of ethical and reflective instructional strategies that position reward  and punishment as supporting instruments for character education. Ethical  practices grounded in Islamic values contribute to the development of students’  intrinsic motivation and moral responsibility in accordance with the objectives of  Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of educational curriculum according to Ibnu Sina and its relevance to the development of Islamic education. The method used is qualitative descriptive research through literature study with a normative and conceptual approach. The results of the study show that Ibnu Sina’s curriculum is designed based on psychological aspects and the developmental stages of students with the theoretical foundation of al-nafs (soul) to develop physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual potential in a balanced manner. In conclusion, education according to Ibnu Sina is a process of the perfection of the soul (takamul al-nafs) to form insān kāmil. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of developmental psychology concepts in the design of a holistic Islamic education curriculum, while its difference from previous studies is the emphasis on the practical implications of Ibnu Sina’s thought in developing a student-development-based curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), the implementation of a collaborative learning model between teachers and parents, and the role of such collaboration in enhancing students’ motivation at UPTD SDN 18 Kalosi Enrekang. The study aimed to describe students’ learning motivation in IRE, analyze the implementation of teacher–parent collaborative learning, and explain its contribution to improving students’ motivation. This research employed a qualitative approach with pedagogical, psychological, and theological perspectives. The study was conducted over three months at UPTD SDN 18 Kalosi Enrekang. Primary data were obtained from the principal, teachers, parents, and students, while secondary data were collected from school documents and relevant literature. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation, member checking, prolonged observation, and persistent observation. The findings indicate that students’ learning motivation in IRE is generally good, particularly in practical topics such as prayer, worship practices, and moral values. However, motivation tends to decrease when students encounter more theoretical subjects, including tafsir and fiqh. The study also found that collaboration between teachers and parents positively affects students’ learning motivation. Active parental involvement in supervising learning at home and maintaining regular communication with teachers strengthens students’ enthusiasm, discipline, and engagement in learning. This study contributes to the growing literature on school–family partnerships by demonstrating how teacher–parent collaboration strengthens learning motivation within the context of Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Quantum Teaching method in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning, explore teachers’ and students’ experiences and perceptions toward its application, and identify learning innovations developed through the integration of the method at UPT SDN 18 Kalosi, Enrekang Regency. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach within a constructivist paradigm. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and field notes involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher, classroom teachers, and students. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Quantum Teaching method significantly enhanced students’ engagement, motivation, and understanding of Islamic Religious Education. Learning became more interactive and student-centered through storytelling, group discussions, role-playing, project-based learning, and the integration of digital media. Students demonstrated stronger critical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to apply Islamic values in daily life. Teachers and students expressed positive perceptions of the method, although challenges related to limited instructional time, technological facilities, and differences in student abilities were identified. The study suggests that Quantum Teaching can serve as an effective instructional strategy for improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education, particularly in elementary schools. The findings encourage schools to strengthen teacher professional development and provide adequate technological support to facilitate innovative and meaningful learning experiences. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how Quantum Teaching can be adapted within Islamic Religious Education to foster active participation, contextual understanding, and the internalization of religious values. The study provides an innovative pedagogical model that integrates student-centered learning, educational technology, and character development in elementary Islamic education.
