Abstract

The 2024 employee Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data at PT. Gapura Angkasa, Pekanbaru Branch, indicate that several indicators related to corporate culture and employee performance have not achieved the expected targets. This condition highlights the need to examine whether the internalization of corporate core values is reflected in employee performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of corporate cultural values on employee performance and to determine the extent of their contribution at PT. Gapura Angkasa, Pekanbaru Branch. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal-associative research design. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered to 38 permanent employees selected through a total sampling technique. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression, correlation analysis, and the coefficient of determination. The results show a positive but very weak relationship between corporate cultural values and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.183 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.033. The regression coefficient was not statistically significant (p = 0.272 > 0.05), indicating that corporate cultural values do not have a statistically significant influence on employee performance in the studied context. The findings suggest that although corporate cultural values provide a positive behavioral orientation, their internalization and implementation have not yet been sufficiently strong to produce a measurable improvement in employee performance. These results indicate that employee performance is likely influenced by other organizational and individual factors beyond corporate cultural values.
