Abstract

Ada dua tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan ini, yaitu pertama membekali kaum perempuan dengan keterampilan membuat kerajinan decoupage yang dapat dijadikan modal untuk membuat usaha guna meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga. Kedua, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong rasa ingin tahu kaum perempuan tentang kerajinan decoupage dengan cara mencari informasi dari bacaan yang ada di perpustakaan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan di Taman Baca Masyarakat Kampung Buku, Kelurahan Ciracas, Kecamatan Cibubur, dan berlangsung dalam satu kali pertemuan dari pukul 08.00 sampai dengan 12.00. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 27 orang ibu dan remaja perempuan yang tinggal di sekitar TBM Kampung Buku Cibubur. Pelatihan difasilitasi oleh seorang alumni Fakultas Psikologi Unika Atma Jaya yang merupakan pengusaha kerajinan tangan decoupage, dan dibantu oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Unika Atma Jaya sebagai fasilitator pendamping. Secara umum, hasil dari kegiatan ini tidak dapat diukur dengan menggunakan angka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada peserta untuk membuat kerajinan tangan decoupage dan keingintahuan mereka dengan mencari informasi dari buku yang ada di perpustakaan.Kata kunci: taman baca, decoupage, kerajinan, perempuan

Abstract

Ekonomi seringkali dipisahkan dari etika dan moral karena perkembangan aliran positivime ilmu ekonomi. Positivime yang bersandar pada data membuat ekonomi seolah-oleh menjauh dari etika dan moral kehidupan. Amartya Sen terkenal dengan pola pemikiran bahwa ekonomi pasar bebas merupakan akibat pemisahan ekonomi dari dimensi etik dan moral. Polanyi adalah satu satu pemikir yang berupaya untuk merangkaikan kembali ekonomi dengan variabel sosio-budaya sehingga variabel-variabel tersebut dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Dua pemikir ini memungkinkan terbukanya ekonomi terhadap ilmu lain, seperti layaknya manusia yang memerlukan manusia lain untuk hidup.

Abstract

Oral presentation methods utilizing presentation slides are prevalent learning activities in higher education. The workplace also frequently employs presentations to report project outcomes, disseminate new regulations, or convey ideas. This research aims to (a) investigate the evaluation of presentation slide design and text by lecturers and peers; (b) determine the perceived importance of oral presentations and the use of presentation slides in the workplace. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection involved questionnaires distributed to 222 active students in the 2023-2024 even-semester. Additionally, data were gathered through interviews with two students and four private company leaders in Jakarta and Bekasi, West Java. The results indicate that peer evaluations of presentation design are higher than those of lecturers. Peers assigned lower scores to visual aspects, while lecturers focused on text size. This research does not fully align with communication theory, emphasizing the 7-line pattern with seven words per line on a single presentation slide. Oral presentations in the workplace are considered crucial for career advancement. However, practical shortcomings persist, including poorly structured presentation slides, presenters' insufficient attention to the audience, presentation content lacking supporting data and facts, and presenters resorting to verbatim reading.

Abstract

During the pandemic, many work activities were carried out online, which was called Work from Home (WFH). Likewise, teaching and learning activities in schools are also affected by the online system in the distance teaching and learning process. This research was conducted during the pandemic to determine job satisfaction and performance of teachers with the job characteristic model, subjective well-being, and work climate as variable antecedents during WFH work where job satisfaction is a mediating variable in improving performance. The research was carried out at a private school foundation in the surrounding area of ​​Jakarta. The research respondents were 118 teachers using a convenience data sampling technique using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research model uses SEM and data is processed with PLS version 3.0 software. Job Characteristics significantly increase job satisfaction and job performance. Subjective Well-Being can increase Job satisfaction but cannot increase Job Performance, whereas Job satisfaction can fully mediate Subjective Well-Being in increasing Job Performance. On the other hand, job satisfaction can mediate job characteristics on job performance, but not as strongly because the direct influence is stronger. Likewise, at the marginal level, work climate can increase job satisfaction but cannot increase job performance and job satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of work climate on job performance.
