Abstract

nstilling religious values within the family environment is a crucial aspect in shaping a child's character and personality from an early age. This study aims to determine the role of parents in instilling religious values in the Alpha generation in Dasan Baru Hamlet, Suralaga District, and identify various challenges faced in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with field research. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and observations. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman interactive data analysis model. The results of the study indicate that parents play an important role in the formation of children's religious character through role models, habituation to practicing religious teachings, the use of digital technology as a medium for religious education, supervision of digital activities, and providing motivation and support in worship. On the other hand, the process of instilling religious values still faces several challenges, including low parental digital literacy, exposure to negative content, the influence of games and social media, and the rapid flow of information and digital culture that influence children's behavior. Therefore, synergy between families and the wise use of technology are needed so that the instillation of religious values in the Alpha generation can take place optimally amidst the development of the digital era.
