Abstract

The phenomenon of cyber-bullying among students has become a serious threat to moral integrity and mental health in the digital 5.0 era. Despite having high intellectual capacity, there is often a disconnection between theoretical religious understanding and ethical behavior in cyberspace. This study aims to formulate an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) strategy in mitigating cyber-bullying through the strengthening of the "Digital Adab" concept. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research gathers data through semi-structured interviews with students and PAI lecturers, digital observation of students' social media interactions, and curriculum documentation studies. The results indicate that cyber-bullying patterns among students are often manifested in the form of cancel culture, sarcastic comments, and spreading rumors (spilling), which are considered commonplace. The proposed mitigation strategies include the integration of "Social Media Fiqh" in the PAI curriculum, the internalization of the tabayyun (verification) value, and the application of the muraqabah (consciousness of God's supervision) concept in virtual interactions. This study concludes that the transformation of PAI from textual to contextual-digital learning is crucial to building a harmonious campus environment with noble character (akhlakul karimah).
