<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the adaptation strategies implemented in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo during the era of technological disruption, focusing on the role of digital technology in enhancing the teaching process. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Direct observations were conducted to understand technology application in the classroom, while in-depth interviews with teachers and students explored perceptions and challenges regarding technology integration. The findings indicate that, despite the use of face-to-face instruction, the school actively utilizes digital technologies—such as YouTube, PowerPoint, and Quizizz—to facilitate gamification and boost student learning motivation. Students participate in creating digital media projects, such as short videos that incorporate Islamic values into the learning material. A primary challenge identified is the variation in teachers' technological skills; to address this, the school regularly organizes technology training sessions.
