Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of advertisements in online media dealing with the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. Advertisement with children as the endorser to convey the message on Waspada Corona aired in animated version of public service advertisement. this advertisement is very intriguing seen from the emerge of children in educating the public dealing with the enormity and serious impact of the epidemic. How online media construct the children animated advertising language on waspada Corona and how the Semarang society reconstruct language message in the media. This research purposive media text selection as the data collecting method and media text analysis in its analyzing technique as analyzing advertisement method. While the construction of the society, the data were analyzed by mans of Miles and Huberman’s interactive and constructivist qualitative analysis. The paradigm used is constructivism and is completed with Peter L berger’s social construction theory. The result of this research are expecyed to show the full form of construction of children advertisement in online media and the construction of the society in responding the online media advertising messages. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know critical discourse analysis of the news about the death of taruna STIP that Tempo.co has been published. This research notice all of the aspects such as microstructure, meso-structure, and macrostructure. This research uses a news from Tempo.co with title Taruna STIP Tewas Dihajar Senior, Ini Kronologinya, online published in January 11th 2017. This research uses Norman Fairclough s critical discourse analysis model. Qualitative method has been used as basic thinking and critical paradigm as research standpoint. The result shows that Tempo.co does an election diction; use of the causation phrase; and selecting resource in direct quotation. Realization of the result rates in line with the Tempo.co s company mission. Which is to create an independent multimedia product that free from any pressure. There was a motivation in news produced which lead the reader to give a positive sight for Tempo.co.

Abstract

This research is an online media study about the phenomenon of waria (transgender) people in Indonesia. Okezone.com reports about plans to make Fiqh Waria. Fiqh is expected to be a reference for waria to perform religious rituals in Islam. Islam has different laws between men and women. Research using Robert N. Entman's Framing Analysis. According to Entman, framing is a selection process that highlights aspects: problem identification, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and action recommendations. The results of the study mentioned that in identifying the problem, it was reported about the plan to make a special jurisprudence called Fiqh Waria. In causal interpretation, making fiqh is needed so that they can perform worship after gender changes. In moral evaluation, transgenders are considered to have the same right to perform worship rituals. In the recommended action, it was reported that if the fiqh would become religious jurisprudence that humanizes humans.
