Abstract

Road maintenance is an important aspect in maintaining road service function, user comfort, and traffic safety. Road damage that is not evaluated promptly can reduce the performance of road segments and disrupt community activities. This study aims to assess the level of damage on the Sugio–Kedungpring Road segment as a basis for determining an appropriate road maintenance program. The method used in this study is the 1990 Bina Marga method, with data obtained from visual road damage surveys and daily traffic volume surveys. The road segment studied has a length of 1,000 meters and was divided into 10 observation segments, each measuring 100 meters. The results show that the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) value on the Sugio–Kedungpring Road segment is 337.20 passenger car units/day, which classifies the road as class 3. Based on the damage assessment recapitulation, the total damage score was 22, resulting in a road condition score of 8. The priority order calculation produced a score of 6, indicating that this road segment falls into the periodic maintenance program category. Therefore, planned maintenance is required to prevent further deterioration and maintain the road service function.
