<![CDATA[Tourist movement patterns are a crucial aspect of understanding visitation dynamics and the interconnections between tourist attractions within a destination. Negeri Hukurila, a tourism area in Ambon City, boasts diverse attractions, yet the distribution of tourist visits remains uneven. This study aims to identify tourist attractions, analyze tourist characteristics, and determine tourist movement patterns in Negeri Hukurila. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey method with questionnaires administered to 64 respondents. Analysis was conducted using both descriptive and spatial methods—specifically Geographic Information Systems (GIS)—to map the distribution of attractions, while movement patterns were identified based on the sequence of visited sites and the interconnections between them during a single trip. The results reveal the presence of 12 tourist attractions, predominantly nature-based, with movement patterns characterized primarily by a "single-point" model. This pattern indicates that tourists tend to visit only one attraction per trip, meaning that destination linkages have not yet been optimally established. This situation is influenced by the dominance of natural attractions, weak integration between sites, and underdeveloped supporting attractions. Therefore, strengthening destination linkages, diversifying attractions, and integrating travel routes are essential to foster more varied movement patterns, ensure a more even distribution of visits, and promote sustainable destination development.]]>
