Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital economy requires Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance their digital financial management capabilities to remain competitive and sustainable. However, most MSMEs in Kupang Berkah Jaya Village still face limitations regarding digital financial literacy, particularly in financial record-keeping, cash flow management, and the use of cashless payment systems. Consequently, their financial management practices remain conventional and inefficient. This community service program aims to improve the digital financial literacy of MSMEs and encourage the adoption of QRIS-based cashless payments through a participatory approach. The program employed Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving participants in problem identification, implementation, reflection, and evaluation. Twenty MSME owners participated in digital financial literacy training, practical sessions on digital bookkeeping applications, QRIS implementation training, and business mentoring. The results demonstrated an improvement in financial management competence, evidenced by an increase in average pre-test and post-test scores from 55.4 to 83.6. Eighty percent of participants began using digital bookkeeping applications, while cashless transactions rose from 10% to 40%. Furthermore, participants exhibited positive changes, such as more systematic financial record-keeping, the separation of personal and business finances, and heightened awareness regarding effective financial management. These findings indicate that a participatory approach effectively supports the digital transformation of MSMEs, thereby strengthening the business capacity of rural communities in a sustainable and inclusive manner.
