Abstract

  This paper will examine the evaluation of the implementation of the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKS-NG). This system aims to create an integrated database that is accurate, targeted, and accessible in real time by all stakeholders from the central to the local levels. As an innovation, SIKS-NG is not without its challenges. As seen in the implementation of SIKS-NG in North Luwu Regency, several issues have arisen, such as low operator competence at the village level, frequent network errors, and training sessions for operators that are rarely conducted. This paper employs the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) program evaluation framework developed by Daniel Stufflebeam. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach using an evaluation research design, adopting a single-case study design. Primary data were collected through direct observation and interviews, with data analysis involving data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the context evaluation was conducted well, while the evaluation of operator quality at the village level still requires more attention. Regarding the process evaluation, adequate training for operators needs to be improved, whereas the product evaluation yielded positive results in this study.
