Abstract

Low safety literacy rates in students are a serious problem, in addition, the threat of fire also looms over school environments and residential areas. Tadika Pertiwi High School, located at Jl. H. Jaeran No. 1, Cinere, Depok, needs to improve students’ ability to address these two risks. This initiative aims to enhance students’ understanding of traffic safety and fire safety, as well as to strengthen international partnerships with UTHM in Malaysia. The method used for traffic safety and fire safety awareness activities involved conveying traffic safety and fire safety messages to students. The outcomes of these activities include students gaining knowledge and adopting safe driving behaviors, as well as learning about driving safety, the importance of obeying speed limits and traffic regulations, and procedures for fire mitigation. The results of the activity showed that students' understanding of traffic safety increased 52% and fire safety increased 51%.
