Abstract

This study aims to analyze disruptive behavior in the learning process of second-grade students at Sekolah Alam SDIT Al-Muyassar, including its forms, contributing factors, and impact on learning effectiveness. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of second-grade students, classroom teachers, and related stakeholders. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students’ disruptive behaviors included talking without permission, disturbing peers, lack of focus, and not following learning instructions. The contributing factors were categorized into internal factors, such as low self-regulation and the need for attention, and external factors, such as an open learning environment and peer interactions. These behaviors negatively impacted the learning process, including disrupting other students’ concentration, hindering the delivery of learning materials, and reducing overall learning effectiveness. In conclusion, disruptive behavior is a complex phenomenon that requires comprehensive handling through effective classroom management, varied learning strategies, and approaches that consider students’ social-emotional aspects.
