Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of early numeracy skills among Group B children at Arrauyani Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD Arrauyani) in Muara Pijoan Village. Of the 10 children observed, most experienced difficulties in sequencing numbers, demonstrating one-to-one correspondence, and performing simple addition and subtraction operations. The learning process still relied on conventional teaching methods and made limited use of engaging mathematics games. This study aimed to examine the process of improving children's early numeracy skills through mathematics games, identify the challenges encountered by teachers during implementation, and determine the effectiveness of mathematics games in enhancing early numeracy skills among young children.
