Abstract

The advancement of the digital era demands educators to create innovative learning outcome evaluations by utilizing the AI Coding Generator in Canva. This study aims to examine the implementation of an AI Coding Generator-based physical education assessment integrated into the Canva platform and explore elementary school teachers' experiences and perceptions of its use. The research method used was a case study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of elementary school physical education teachers who had implemented the technology in their learning assessment process. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results show that the use of the AI Coding Generator in Canva helps teachers design more varied, efficient, and visually appealing assessment instruments. Furthermore, teachers perceived increased ease in managing assessments and providing feedback to students. However, several obstacles remained, such as limited digital literacy, internet access, and the need for further training. Overall, teachers' perceptions of the implementation of this technology were positive and showed great potential in supporting the digital transformation of physical education assessment in elementary schools. This study recommends strengthening teachers' digital competencies and providing infrastructure support to optimize the use of artificial intelligence-based technology in education.
