Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of female labor force participation and regional minimum wages on the unemployment rate in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data from 2002-2023 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that partially, the female labor force participation rate has a negative and significant effect on the open unemployment rate in Indonesia, and the regional minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on the open unemployment rate in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the female labor force participation rate and the regional minimum wage have a positive and significant effect on the open unemployment rate in Indonesia.
