Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the 4th grade students at MIN 16 Pidie through the use of animated video media. The study employed Classroom Action Research methodology. The subjects were 12 of the 4th grade students—comprising 7 boys and 5 girls—with heterogeneous abilities. The research was conducted over three cycles, utilizing observation, testing, and documentation techniques. In Cycle I, the students' average score was 65.8, with 3 students (25% of the total) achieving mastery. In Cycle II, the average score rose to 74.16, with 8 students (66.7%) achieving mastery. In Cycle III, the average score reached 90.83, with 12 students (100%) achieving mastery. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of animated video media can improve student learning outcomes.
