Abstract

This study aims to systematize and explain the effect of land area, fertilizer use and labor on agriculture output of food crops in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research, the data used is secondary data which is analyzed using panel regression analysis. The estimation result show that land area has a negative and insignificant effect on agricultural output of food crops in Indonesia, the amount of fertilizer use has a positive and significant effect on agricultural output of food crops in Indonesia and labor has a negative and insignificant effect on agricultural output of food crops in Indonesia. Therefore this study proposes the government to be able to run a program that can increase land production power and labor production power in order to increase agricultural output of food crops.

Abstract

As a plenary citizen, the development of humanity is an obligation to every human being. To accomplish our duty to serve the community in the region of Cianjur especially Ciputri Village Sarongge, we as writer did a “live in” program for a month from the 17th of January till the 14th of February 2019. This article is composed to report the potential, problems, and progress of our partner’s business during this year’s community development program. As Builder 023, we were assigned to help develop our partner’s existing business “Koperasi Sugih Makmur” in terms of finance, marketing, and human resource management to minimalize human error risks in the future such as bad cash flow. We also saw an opportunity for another potential business line, henceforth we decided to develop strawberry jam as a new line of product. Existed since 28th February 2019, this new line of product has already gained improvements such as packaging, operational standards, and sales channels.

Abstract

Acara tradisi Grebeg Besar di Kabupaten Demak disambut dengan antusiasme tinggi oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Demak pada setiap penyelenggaraannya. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kurangnya minat dari masyarakat untuk dapat memahami secara mendalam seluruh prosesi acara tradisi ini, termasuk tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan acara dengan ritual dan simbolisme di balik penyelenggaraan tradisi ini. Tujuannya ditulisnya artikel ini untuk mengumpulkan informasi berupa data yang diambil dari lokasi secara langsung, sekaligus memberikan wawasan kepada masyarakat agar mengenal dan memahami tentang tradisi Grebeg Besar Demak. Metode penelusuran dalam penelitian ini mengaplikasikan model kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Berdasarkan proses pengumpulan data lapangan, dihasilkan bahwa memang dari pihak masyarakat Kabupaten Demak hanya menonton acara Grebeg Besar saja. Akan tetapi, tidak mengetahui secara mendalam apa saja dan bagaimana prosesi Grebeg Besar dapat dilaksanakan. Dari kajian analisis mendalam didapatkan bahwa dalam tradisi Grebeg Besar Demak terdapat sarat akan makna spiritual, budaya, dan sosial. Dimulai dengan prosesi pisowanan sebagai bentuk penghormatan kepada kasepuhan Kadilangu, ziarah makam raja-raja Demak, pembukaan Grebeg Besar, serta berbagai ritual seperti Abon-Abon, arak-arak-arakan Tumpeng Songo, serta iring-iringan Prajurit Patangpuluhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengembangan media pembelajaran komik matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning dengan manga studio V05 dan GeoGerba dan menganalisis penggunaan media pembelajaran komik matematika menggunakan manga studio V05 dan geogebra sudah memenuhi kualitas baik pada kelas VIII SMP. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara menyebar angket kepada guru dan siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Setelah angket dan tes dikembalikan, data dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan rumus presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bahwa media pembelajaran komik matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning yang dikembangkan sudah sangat baik, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi kualitas baik, karena memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata skor 4,33 ini termasuk dalam kategori interval 𝑋>𝑋𝑖 + 1,8×𝑆𝑏𝑖, dengan kualitas sangat baik. Media pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan, yaitu berdasarkan hasil penilaian guru matematika dengan rata-rata skor 4,45 dengan kategori sangat baik, dan hasil penilaian siswa dengan rata-rata skor 4,478 dengan kategori sangat baik. Media komik matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, yaitu berdasarkan presentasi siswa yang tuntas sesuai KKM adalah 73, 69%. Menurut Nieveen (1999:126-127) kualitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan haruslah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Maka produk media pembelajaran komik matematika mempunyai kualitas baik.Kata Kunci: komik matematika, Manga Studio V05, Geogebra, PBL This study aims to explain and describe how the development of mathematics comic learning media based on Problem Based Learning with manga studio V05 and GeoGerba and analyze the use of comic mathematics learning media using manga studio V05 and geogebra has fulfilled good quality in the eighth grade of junior high school. Research data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to teachers and students and testing student learning outcomes. After the questionnaire and test were returned, the data were analyzed qualitatively with a percentage formula.The results showed that the mathematical comic learning media based on Problem Based Learning developed was very good, the learning media developed fulfilled good quality, because it fulfilled valid criteria with an average score of 4.33 included in the interval category X> (X_i) ̅ + 1,8 × Sb_i, with very good quality. Learning media meets the criteria of practicality, which is based on the results of the assessment of mathematics teachers with an average score of 4.45 with a very good category, and student assessment results with an average score of 4.478 with very good categories. Mathematical comic media based on Problem Based Learning meets the criteria of effectiveness, which is based on the presentation of students who complete the KKM is 73, 69%. According to Nieveen (1999: 126-127) the quality of teaching materials developed must meet the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Abstract

Medical image reconstruction is a crucial element in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to produce high-quality images that support clinical diagnosis. This study aims to develop a medical image reconstruction method based on interpolation techniques that improves spatial accuracy and visual detail in MRI imaging results. The methodology used includes the implementation of bilinear and bicubic interpolation algorithms to process signal data obtained from MRI imaging. The dataset used in this study is brain MRI data from an open database that has been validated. The results show that the bilinear interpolation method provides higher computing speed, while bicubic interpolation produces better visual details on edges and small structures. Quantitative analysis using the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) metrics showed an improvement in the quality of the reconstruction images compared to conventional methods. In the brain dataset trial, bicubic interpolation recorded an average PSNR of 38.7 db and SSIM of 0.94, showing a significant improvement compared to the standard method. This research contributes to reducing artifacts and blurring in MRI reconstruction results, thus supporting more accurate medical decision-making. The implementation of this method also shows great potential to be applied in a variety of other clinical applications, such as soft tissue or internal organ imaging. This research is expected to be integrated with deep learning techniques to improve the efficiency and performance of medical image reconstruction in real time.

Abstract

Determination of optimal chemical concentrations is one of the important aspects in industrial research and applications, especially in chemical reaction processes. In this article, the use of the Regula Falsi method as a numerical approach to determine optimal concentration based on the mathematical model of non-linear functions is discussed. The Regula Falsi method was chosen for its simplicity and ability to iteratively converge solutions with high accuracy. The target function is defined from the relationship between concentration variables and the efficiency of chemical reactions. In this study, simulations were carried out using several reaction parameter data scenarios to evaluate the performance of the method. The results show that the Regula Falsi method consistently provides accurate results in determining the root of the target function that represents the optimal concentration. The error rate is calculated to ensure that the resulting solution is within an absolute error tolerance of 0.01. The advantage of this method lies in the speed of convergence compared to other numerical methods, such as the Division by Two method. In addition, sensitivity analysis was carried out to assess the effect of parameter changes on the calculation results. This article concludes with a discussion of the potential applications of the Regula Falsi method in other chemical fields, including the optimization of reaction processes on an industrial scale. With this approach, it is hoped that the Regula Falsi method can be an effective tool to support data-based decision-making in chemical research and process technology.

Abstract

Population dynamics modeling is one of the important approaches in understanding population development and its influence on various aspects of life, such as economic, social, and environmental. This article discusses the application of differential equation methods in modeling population dynamics, with a focus on the analysis of growth and interactions between populations. The models used include exponential growth models, logistics, and the Lotka-Volterra model to describe competitive interactions and predations between populations. Through numerical simulations and qualitative analysis, this article shows how parameters such as birth rate, mortality, and environmental carrying capacity affect population growth patterns. In addition, the influence of external factors such as government policies and natural disasters is also incorporated into the model to expand the application in real contexts. The results of the analysis show that the differential equation model is able to provide an accurate picture of population dynamics if the parameters are estimated correctly. This article also highlights the importance of model validation using empirical data to ensure prediction reliability. This modeling can be used as a tool in development planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation in various sectors. The conclusion of this study is that the differential equation method is not only effective in explaining population phenomena, but also flexible to adapt to various dynamic conditions. As such, this approach offers a significant contribution to demographic studies and data-driven decision-making.
