Abstract

Kualitas sumber daya manusia menjadi penentu keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan. Kata Kunci: work-life balance, stress kerja, kinerja karyawan   Abstract The quality of human resources is a key determinant of a company's success. A well-maintained work-life balance can boost performance, whereas high levels of work-related stress tend to reduce productivity. At PT Jangkar Global Groups in East Jakarta, a lack of work-life balance practices is considered a potential trigger for work-related stress, which ultimately diminishes employee performance. This study aims to analyze the impact of work-life balance and work-related stress on employee performance at the company, employing a quantitative statistical approach with a population of 36 respondents and a saturated sampling technique. Data were processed using SPSS version 27. The results indicate that, regarding the first hypothesis, work-life balance has a significant positive partial effect on employee performance (t-count 3.361 > t-table 2.034; significance 0.002<0.05). Regarding the second hypothesis, work-related stress does not have a significant partial effect on employee performance (t-count -0.808 < t-table 2.034; significance 0.425>0.05). Regarding the third hypothesis, work-life balance and work-related stress have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance (F-count 5.803 > F-table 3.28; significance 0.007<0.05). Thus, the implementation of work-life balance and work-related stress management is proven important for enhancing employee performance, even though work-related stress itself does not directly affect performance.
