Church conflicts not only reflect differing interests, but also test the church’s ability to uphold love, truth, reconciliation and unity when relationships break down. Conflicts rooted in differing visions of ministry, power struggles, poor communication, injustice and crises of trust can develop into polarisation and fragmentation within the community. These conditions highlight the need for a conflict management approach that goes beyond administrative resolution and is oriented towards the transformation of relationships and the restoration of church life. This study aims to formulate a theological understanding of church conflict management centred on reconciliation, servant leadership, and the building of the unity of the Body of Christ. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review; it can therefore be concluded that servant leadership transforms conflict management through humility, active listening, transparency, participation, justice and empowerment. Christian reconciliation takes place through the acknowledgement of wounds, repentance, forgiveness, the restoration of trust and equal acceptance. In conclusion, conflict can become a catalyst for renewal if managed in a restorative manner and oriented towards the unity of the Body of Christ. The Church needs to foster ongoing dialogue, pastoral care, and participatory post-conflict mechanisms. The novelty of this research lies in the construction of an integrated theological model that links conflict management, servant leadership, Christian reconciliation, and ecclesiology. This model positions unity as a transformational orientation that goes beyond the administrative resolution of conflict.
