Education has been widely recognized as a key instrument in improving the welfare of people around the world. This aligns with UNESCO's (2020) view, which emphasizes that education is not only a human right but also an investment that generates economic and social benefits. Public perceptions can vary depending on various factors, such as knowledge, educational background, experience, institutional conditions, and government policies. This study employed a qualitative approach. This qualitative literature study approach was used because obtaining facts or social realities in research requires a more in-depth approach, and the researcher believes that truth or social reality is constructed by individual consciousness. To test the validity of the data in this study, source triangulation and theory triangulation techniques were used. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out in several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the literature review indicate that education plays a crucial role in improving community welfare through several mechanisms, such as increasing employment opportunities, reducing poverty, and increasing social mobility. The Sambirejo village community recognizes the importance of education, as everyone no longer relies solely on wealth or material assets to survive, but rather on knowledge as the most fundamental asset. Through quality and inclusive education, communities can be better prepared to face social challenges and play an active role in creating positive change for the common good.
