Abstract

domestic violence, online lending, and online gambling are social issues that can have negative social and economic impact on individuals, families, and communities. based on communication with the Youth Organization and the Government of Widoro Village, the community in Simer Hamlet need education on the risk, impact, prevention, and handling of these three issues. this community service activity aimed to improve community understanding of domestic violence, online lending, and online gambling. the activity was conducted on July 19, 2026, at Simer Hamlet Community Hall, Widoro Village, Karangsambung District, Kebumen Regency, involving 40 participants. the method used was socialization with an educational videos, discussion and question-and-answer session. evaluation was conducted descriptively and qualitatively based on participants 'involvement and responses during the activity. The findings showed that participants actively engaged in discussions and demonstrated an understanding of the forms and consequences of domestic violence, the differences between legal and illegal online lending services, and the impacts and prevention of online gambling. The activity contributed to improving community understanding and awareness of these three issues. However, the activity did not measure long-term changes in participants’ behavior.
