<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of training methods (dense and distribution) and achievement motivation on the shooting skills of two hands on the head of the basketball game, in terms of high achievement motivation and low achievement motivation. In accordance with the problems, the design of this research is the treatment by the level of 2 x 2. Analysis of variance between groups at a significant level α = 0:05 This study also aims to determine the interaction between exercise and achievement motivation on the shooting skills of two hands above the head. This research was conducted in SMK Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau South Sumatra. The sample used in this research were 30 students, then divided into four groups, so that each group consisted of 5 students who became the object of this research. Data analysis technique is the analysis of variance of two lanes and then followed by Tukey test with significance level α = 0:05. The results showed that (1) The results of basketball shooting skills to a group that trained with solid training methods as a whole is better than the group that trained with exercises motede distribution, (2) There is an interaction between training methods and achievement motivation arms against the results of shooting skills basketball, (3) For those students who have high achievement motivation, the results of basketball shooting skills through the application of solid training methods better than the training methods of distribution, (4) For those students who have low achievement motivation, the results of basketball shooting skills through the application of training methods of distribution is better than solid training methods.
