Abstract

Teacher performance is a primary factor determining the quality of instruction. This study aims to analyze the influence of pedagogical competence, work motivation, and the physical work environment on teacher performance at the AB Complex Budidaya Branch. The study employs a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique. The research population consists of 39 teachers across the Kindergarten A, Elementary School B, Junior High School X, and Vocational High School Z levels. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS 26, incorporating tests for validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that pedagogical competence, work motivation, and the physical work environment each have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, these three variables also exert a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.771 indicates that 77.1% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by pedagogical competence, work motivation, and the physical work environment, while 22.9% is influenced by factors outside the research model. Thus, enhancing pedagogical competence, work motivation, and the physical work environment can support improvements in teacher performance.
