This study aims to describe students' creativity demonstrated during the process of making leaf-based batik using the ecoprint technique with the pounding method among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 25 Kota Bengkulu. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving fifth-grade students as research participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data credibility was established through triangulation and member checking. Students' creativity was analyzed based on four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The findings showed that the four creativity indicators emerged throughout the ecoprint process, although their manifestations varied across groups and stages of the activity. Fluency was demonstrated through students' ability to generate and discuss ideas for motifs and the selection of leaves. Flexibility was reflected in their ability to combine different types of leaves, arrange motifs, and adapt to challenges during the process. Originality was evident in the distinctive design ideas, leaf selections, and motif arrangements developed by each group. Elaboration was demonstrated through the addition of different types of leaves to enrich the details and composition of the designs, as well as adjustments made during the drying process. The findings indicate that more than one creativity indicator could emerge simultaneously during a single stage of the activity, with different combinations observed across groups. Thus, the ecoprint technique using the pounding method provides a learning activity that allows elementary school students to explore ideas and express their creativity through the creation of artwork using natural materials.
