Abstract

Purpose: to map the development of technological innovation in Indonesian libraries through bibliometric analysis, identify trends, challenges, and patterns of collaboration, and provide strategic guidance for the development of libraries that are adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable. Method: using a bibliometric approach with the PRISMA framework to analyze Scopus-indexed articles (2015–2025) on technological innovation in Indonesian libraries, examining publication trends, subject areas, document types, geographic distribution, and thematic relationships. Findings: indicate a growing trend in publications on technological innovation in Indonesian libraries, primarily in Computer Science and Social Sciences. Most publications are journal articles, with international contributions dominating, especially from China, the United States, and India. Thematic analysis reveals strong links between technological innovation, knowledge management, service efficiency, and the evolving role of libraries in digital transformation. Implications: provides strategic guidance for policymakers and library managers to develop adaptive and inclusive technologies, enhance human resource competencies, and promote cross-disciplinary and international collaboration for sustainable digital transformation of libraries in Indonesia. Originality: applying a bibliometric approach to map technological innovation in Indonesian libraries comprehensively, a perspective rarely explored in the local context, while integrating analyses of trends, institutional collaboration, and implementation challenges.

Abstract

Purpose: to analyze global research trends, thematic developments, and collaborative networks in digital health technology applied to public services using a bibliometric approach. Method: a bibliometric analysis was conducted using the PRISMA framework to systematically identify, screen, and analyze 34 relevant articles from Scopus published between 2017 and 2025, focusing on publication trends, subject areas, document types, country distribution, author collaborations, and thematic relationships in digital health technology for public services. Findings: a significant upward trend in publications on digital health technology in public services, with Medicine as the dominant subject area, complemented by Social Sciences and Computer Science. Journal articles were the most common document type, while India and Finland were the leading contributors. Thematic and co-authorship analyses revealed strong interconnections between digitalization, healthcare, development, and population challenges, highlighting the interdisciplinary and global nature of research in this field. Implications: successful digital transformation in public health services requires integrative strategies combining technological innovation, institutional readiness, policy support, and inclusive approaches to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and equity in healthcare delivery. Originality: this study uniquely maps global research trends and collaborations in digital health technology for public services using a bibliometric approach.

Abstract

Purpose: to provide a comprehensive bibliometric overview of village financial system research from 2015 to 2025 by examining publication trends, citation patterns, leading contributors, subject areas, and emerging thematic clusters that shape future research directions. Method: this study used a bibliometric approach based on the PRISMA framework. Data were retrieved from the Scopus and Crossref databases for the period 2015–2025. Following screening and eligibility assessment, 29 articles were selected for analysis. Bibliometric techniques were applied to identify publication trends, citation patterns, leading contributors, and dominant research themes in village financial system studies. Findings: a fluctuating publication trend, with a peak in 2020. Research is predominantly published in the fields of Business, Management and Accounting, and Social Sciences. Two major thematic clusters were identified: village fund effectiveness and village financial management. Emerging topics include digitalization, transparency, accountability, and technology-driven governance, indicating future directions for research on village financial systems. Implications: the literature maps the evolution of village financial system research, identifies future research opportunities, and provides evidence-based insights to support effective, transparent, and sustainable village financial governance. Originality: lies in its bibliometric approach to systematically examine the development of village financial system research, identifying key publication trends, thematic clusters, and emerging topics that have not been comprehensively explored in previous studies.

Abstract

Purpose: to analyze research trends, publication patterns, collaboration networks, thematic clusters, and emerging research directions concerning the relationship between smart cities and government service development during the 2015–2025 period. Method: This study employs a bibliometric analysis combined with the PRISMA framework to systematically identify, screen, and analyze relevant literature on smart cities and government service development published between 2015 and 2025. A total of 67 eligible publications were analyzed to identify publication trends, contributing countries, journals, authors, subject areas, collaboration networks, and thematic clusters. Findings: smart city and government service research is increasingly multidisciplinary, with Indonesia and China as leading contributors. The main themes focus on communication technology and e-governance, as well as accountability and public administration, indicating a shift toward integrated and citizen-oriented smart government. Implications: these findings can support policymakers in designing more inclusive, secure, and responsive smart government strategies. Originality: lies in its decade-long bibliometric mapping of smart city and government service research, integrating technological, governance, and stakeholder perspectives to identify dominant themes, research networks, and emerging directions.
