Background: Stunting remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia, including Pemalang Regency, which recorded a prevalence rate of 11.4%. Posyandu cadres play a crucial role in the early detection of stunting through anthropometric measurements. However, low data accuracy is often caused by inadequate cadre knowledge due to conventional training methods. Video-based media offers a practical and repeatable educational innovation to improve cadre competence. Objective: To determine the effect of video-based education on improving Posyandu cadres’ knowledge of anthropometric measurements among toddlers in the working area of Sarwodadi Public Health Center. Methods: This quantitative study employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study involved all cadres at Posyandu in Kebojongan Village, with 40 respondents selected through total sampling. A validated and reliable knowledge questionnaire was used as the research instrument. As the data were normally distributed, data analysis was performed using the Paired Sample t-Test. Results: The mean knowledge score before the intervention (pretest) was 5.30, categorized as low. Following approximately seven minutes of educational video intervention, the mean knowledge score increased to 7.63, categorized as good. Bivariate analysis showed a significant effect of video-based education on improving cadres’ knowledge, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Video-based education improves Posyandu cadres’ understanding of anthropometric measurements among toddlers. To maintain service quality at Posyandu, public health centers are recommended to use video media for regular training.
