<![CDATA[ABSTRACTPoultry commodities have good market prospects because they are relatively inexpensive and easily accessible. Demand theory explains the nature of buyer demand for a particular good. In this analysis, it is assumed that other factors remain unchanged, or ceteris paribus. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the demand for broiler chicken meat, such as household income, the price of broiler chicken meat, the price of free-range chicken meat, the price of tilapia, the price of eggs, and family dependents, in households in Taluk Kuantan. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The data obtained was then tabulated for further multiple linear regression analysis at a 95% confidence level. The variables used in this study were economic variables contained in the model equation. The dependent variable was the price of broiler chicken meat in Kuantan Singingi Regency, and the independent variables were household income, broiler chicken meat prices, chicken egg prices, number of family members, and age. This analysis used SPSS software with multiple linear analysis. This study used a linear regression model to describe the demand for broiler chicken meat in Taluk Kuantan City. The results show that the factors affecting the demand for broiler chicken meat among household consumers in Taluk Kuantan City simultaneously influence the demand for broiler chicken meat. Partially, only the price of broiler chicken has a positive and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken meat among household consumers in Taluk Kuantan City. ]]>
