Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational tourism attractions of the Soil and Agriculture Museum in Bogor City. This museum is an educational tourist destination that combines elements of knowledge, history, and recreation in one place. The main focus of the research is to identify factors that attract visitors, evaluate their experiences during their visits, and examine the challenges faced by museums in developing their potential as educational tourism destinations. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with the help of NVivo software to map themes and patterns from the information obtained. The results of the study show that the main attraction of the museum lies in its educational collections related to soil and agricultural science, interactive galleries, and strategic location. However, the low level of promotion and less innovative presentation of information are still the main obstacles in attracting visitors, especially from the younger generation. This study concludes that the Museum of Soil and Agriculture has great potential as a means of contextual learning and meaningful educational tourism experience if it is developed sustainably.
