<![CDATA[Stunting remains a significant challenge to human development, particularly in the Indonesian context, including West Java Province, where the prevalence increased to 23.3% in 2024, exceeding the national average. Sukabumi Regency shows intra-regional disparities in how stunting is addressed across its various subdistricts. This study focuses on two contrasting areas: Cicurug and Pelabuhan Ratu. The research aims to analyze and compare government strategies for stunting reduction in these two contexts and to identify key factors contributing to their success or failure. Employing a qualitative constructivist approach, the study adopts a descriptive framework to explore local government, community engagement, and structural challenges in addressing stunting. The findings reveal that the success of stunting reduction in Cicurug Subdistrict is driven by strong cross-sectoral coordination through the Forkompimcam (Subdistrict Leadership Coordination Forum), active support from the private sector via CSR initiatives, the use of digital data systems such as e-PPGBM and RME, and innovative community-based programs. In contrast, Pelabuhanratu continues to face significant challenges, including weak coordination mechanisms, limited access to accurate data, a predominantly charitable approach, and geographic and economic constraints that hinder effective intervention. In conclusion, the effectiveness of reducing stunting is closely tied to the capacity for cross-sectoral coordination, the implementation of data-driven policies, and the development of locally relevant innovations.]]>
