<![CDATA[This research aims to find out: 1). Exemplary level of fua people who have children in Pakkotang Hamlet, Bulujaya Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency; 2). The level of children's morals and morals in Pakkotang Hamlet, Bulujaya Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency; and 3) What is the influence of parental example (X) on children's morals (Y) in Pakkotang Hamlet, Bulujaya Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. This research uses a survey method with correlational techniques. The research subjects were 70 respondents for variable X, and 70 respondents for variable Y, from a population of 830 parents. Sampling used the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection uses a closed questionnaire instrument. to collect data X and data Y. Meanwhile, observations and interviews are used to obtain data that cannot be obtained through questionnaires. The results of the correlation test show that: the correlation between the exemplary behavior of local people and the morals and morals of children in Pakkotang Hamlet, Bulujaya Village, West Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, is significant, this is shown by the correlation coefficient ry 0.526 r table at the significance level of 0.01 and 0.05. The results of the t test also show that T count is -3.689 t table (0.01) -2.386 and 1 table (0.05) -1.670, this means it is significant, and the coefficient of determination is r 2 = 0.2766. This shows that 27.66% of children's moral values are determined by their parents' example. Based on the results of this research, it is hoped that it will provide information and input for parents and all residents of the hamlet where the research is located, especially in an effort to provide good examples and role models for the development and formation of their children's morals.]]>
