<![CDATA[I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Indonesia, with high aircraft movement, particularly during peak hours. This condition may lead to ground congestion that affects the effectiveness of departure operations. One of the operational strategies implemented to address this issue is Pushback and Start Management (PSM). This study aimed to analyze the implementation of Pushback and Start Management and its effect on the effectiveness of departure operations at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to Ground Controllers and Pilots. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, normality testing, simple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the implementation of Pushback and Start Management was categorized as high, with a mean score of 3.72. Simple linear regression analysis indicated that Pushback and Start Management had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of departure operations (p = 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.498) indicated that Pushback and Start Management explained 49.8% of the variance in the effectiveness of departure operations. In conclusion, the implementation of Pushback and Start Management contributes significantly to improving the effectiveness of departure operations at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.]]>
