This study aims to analyze the effect of using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based e module on the topic of environmental pollution toward the critical thinking skills of eighth grade students at MTs NU Nahdlatul Fata Jepara. This quantitative pre-experimental study employed a One Group Pretest Posttest design, involving the entire population as a saturated sample of 38 students from class VIII A. Data were collected through a critical thinking skills test instrument administered before and after treatment, then analyzed using Normality, Homogeneity, Paired Sample T Test, N Gain, and Simple Linear Regression tests. The results showed a significant increase in the average score from 66.7 (Pre test) to 78.3 (Post test), with a significance value (2 tailed) of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a t count of 8.238, greater than the t table value of 1.685. The N Gain test produced an average score of 0.6834 (68.34%), categorized as moderate to high. Students taught using the PBL based e module also obtained a higher average score (78.4) compared to those taught with conventional methods (67.0). These findings indicate that the PBL based e module has a significant and positive effect on enhancing students' critical thinking skills on environmental pollution material, and can be considered an effective, contextual, and innovative learning alternative for science education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi pencemaran lingkungan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VIII MTs NU Nahdlatul Fata Jepara. Penelitian kuantitatif jenis pre eksperimen ini menggunakan desain One Group Pretest Posttest dengan melibatkan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel jenuh, yaitu 38 peserta didik kelas VIII A. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, Uji Paired Sample T Test, Uji N Gain, dan Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata rata yang signifikan dari Pre test sebesar 66,7 menjadi Post test sebesar 78,3, dengan nilai signifikansi (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) dan thitung 8,238 > ttabel 1,685. Hasil uji N Gain menunjukkan skor rata rata 0,6834 (68,34%) yang berada pada kategori sedang menuju tinggi. Kelompok yang belajar menggunakan e modul berbasis PBL juga memperoleh rata rata (78,4) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok konvensional (67,0). Dengan demikian, e modul berbasis PBL terbukti efektif dan berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan.
