<![CDATA[One of the main challenges in managing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) in Talaga Jaya District is the absence of an integrated information system capable of presenting the geographical distribution of UMKM locations. As a result, the public experiences difficulties in obtaining accurate and up-to-date information regarding business locations, business categories, products, and UMKM profiles. In addition, the process of collecting and disseminating UMKM data is still carried out conventionally, making it less effective in supporting business promotion, regional economic development, and decision-making. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) for mapping UMKM locations that is capable of presenting both spatial and non-spatial information interactively and can be easily accessed by the public and local government. The software development process adopts the Waterfall methodology, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review to identify system requirements, while Black-box Testing was employed to verify that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the developed GIS successfully displays the distribution of UMKM locations on an interactive digital map, manages UMKM data centrally, facilitates the retrieval of business information based on location and business category, and improves the effectiveness of information dissemination. The system is expected to serve as a digital promotional medium while supporting the management, development, and empowerment of UMKM in Talaga Jaya District.]]>
